Families must have filled out the Tryouts Registration form and digitally signed the embedded Consent to Participate before being allowed to participate in activities with Legends.

Consent to Participate

Please sign your name on this line to represent the following statement: "I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of the Parent/Guardian Consent and Player Medical Release Statement. I give permission for my child to participate in all activities." Parent/Guardian Consent and Player Medical Release Statement: Recognizing the possibility of injury or illness, and in consideration for US Youth Soccer and members of US Youth Soccer accepting my son or daughter as a player in the soccer programs and activities of US Youth Soccer and its members which are also known as "the Programs," I consent to my son or daughter participating in the Programs. Further, I hereby release, discharge, and otherwise indemnify US Youth Soccer, its member organizations and sponsors, their employees, associated personnel, and volunteers, including the owner of fields and facilities utilized for the Programs, against any claim by or on behalf of my player son or daughter as a result of my son's or daughter’s participation in the Programs and/or being transported to or from the Programs. About Our Club

Idaho Legends is a youth soccer club growing quickly with teams for boys and girls in multiple age groups. Our platform is simple. Idaho Legends provides a highly competitive soccer program at an affordable price.

Since it was established in 2020, Legends has operated with the overarching goal of emphasizing character and sportsmanship. All Idaho Legends teams have this at the core of their soccer activities.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect my child to receive in their soccer experience?

The Idaho Legends package is 2-3 practices per week depending on the age group with a fall and spring outdoor season consisting of 8 games each.

Coaches VERY often offer local and occasionally traveling fall and spring tournaments as well as indoor soccer and/or futsal league play in the winter months. Specialized training sessions or camps may be offered as well.

What is the expected commitment?

Each coach sets his/her own expectations for practice attendance, Sunday play requirements, winter indoor participation etc. Coaches will be up front about expectations at the time of tryouts and sending out offer letters to players.

A club-wide expectation is to commit to a soccer year (June to June). This is common practice for clubs participating under Idaho Youth Soccer Association’s regulations. Tryouts for all clubs are regulated by IYSA and happen on the same dates each year for this reason.

How do uniforms work?

Uniform kits cost $250. The kit includes two jerseys with your player’s number and last name on them, two pairs of shorts, two pairs of socks, two practice shirts, a jacket, a pair of sweats, and a bag with your player’s name on it.

Uniform kits last for up to 4 seasons; however, a club-wide NEW STYLE uniform kit purchase is required for new and returning families every June of even numbered years.

Where are practices and games, and on which nights of the week and what times?

These decisions are left up to each individual coach based on logistics for the majority of the team’s families. Coaches will have a plan and be up front in communicating at the time of tryouts and sending out offer letters to players.

What is the cost of the program?

Parents who are already with Idaho Legends will tell you that our program is the most affordable competitive soccer available. The price for each player can vary slightly depending on the team’s individual preferences on experience (equipment purchases, tournaments, indoor soccer, etc). Legends players so far have been receiving spring and fall league play, 2 sessions of winter indoor soccer November-February, and 2-4 tournaments for approximately $500. In a uniform year (see uniforms section) that price increases to cover the cost of uniform kits.

Local Club #1: $550 plus $250 uniform kit = $800 WITHOUT indoor soccer, tournaments, etc.

Local Club #2: $1,200 WITHOUT indoor soccer, tournaments, etc.

Local Club #3: $1,750 WITHOUT indoor soccer, tournaments, etc.

Local Club #4: $845 plus $277 uniform kit = $1,122 WITHOUT indoor soccer, tournaments, etc.

Does Idaho Legends allow “play-ups?”

Although it is best for a player to compete against his or her own birth year opponents, Idaho Legends does allow play-ups. Decisions are based on the skill level, maturity, and physical capability of the player.

At what age group does Idaho Legends begin?

The club forms teams and offers league play beginning with the U9 season. The spring season’s calendar year minus 9 is the birth year Idaho Legends begins in any given year. For example, in the 2023-2024 soccer year, the U9 age group’s birth year was 2015. In 2024-2025, the U9 birth year will be 2016.
